Found this on the trail. It appears to be the skeletal remains of a Texan who thought he/she could ski in the trees (kinda gotta know how Texans ski to find this funny)... Should've stayed on the groomed runs.

Well, I started hitting huge jumps later in the day. I landed one and my front rim bent causing it to lock up and send me flying over the handlebars.

Day trip out to Vail and Leadville 6/17/09

Here are some pictures from a day trip out to see Vail. The resort town of Vail really wasn't my thing so we decided to go up into the mountains.

Rocky Mountain National park, Estes Park, and Red Rocks 6/10/09-6/11/09

Here are some pics from a little "weekend" trip through Rocky Mountain National park to Estes Park.. We stayed in a cabin at the YMCA of Estes Park and then drove to Denver the next day to see Riverboat Gamblers, Rancid, and Rise Against at Red Rocks.

Garden of the Gods 5/21/09

I went down to Colorado Springs the other day and took a little trip to The Garden of the Gods... It's a weird place where these rock formations tower over flat land just east of Pikes Peak.

A nice thing is that it's a free park!

Looks prehistoric doesn't it?

Vertical rock faces... People rock climb these walls.

Pikes peak should be back there somewhere.. Mother nature can even hide a 14'er!
