Here are pics from a weekend excursion to Telluride, Co. Telluride sits in the San Juan mountain range in southern Colorado.

Berthoud pass to Parry's peak hike 7/22/09

Here are pics from a hike from Berthoud Pass (Elev. 11315) to Parry's Peak, known as Bear Claw (Elev 13391). The hike took about 4 hours to up and another 6 or 7 to hike down due to the fact we chose a poor route which left us traversing extremely steep and loose terrain and crossing back and forth over a stream.

Mt Epworth. 7/15/09

Just another Wednesday... Me and my buddy Phil went up to hike and ride Mt. Epworth in Winter Park, Colorado... Hiking, snowboarding (in July) and riding quads all day...

Maroon Belles. Aspen, Colorado 7/8/09

These are some pictures from a trip to Aspen to camp and see the Maroon Belles. A pair of peaks that top out over 14,000 feet...

The trip included camping, cooking out, drinking, hiking, and having to swim across a couple ice cold mountain run off rivers.

Found this on the trail. It appears to be the skeletal remains of a Texan who thought he/she could ski in the trees (kinda gotta know how Texans ski to find this funny)... Should've stayed on the groomed runs.

Day trip out to Vail and Leadville 6/17/09

Here are some pictures from a day trip out to see Vail. The resort town of Vail really wasn't my thing so we decided to go up into the mountains.

Rocky Mountain National park, Estes Park, and Red Rocks 6/10/09-6/11/09

Here are some pics from a little "weekend" trip through Rocky Mountain National park to Estes Park.. We stayed in a cabin at the YMCA of Estes Park and then drove to Denver the next day to see Riverboat Gamblers, Rancid, and Rise Against at Red Rocks.

Garden of the Gods 5/21/09

I went down to Colorado Springs the other day and took a little trip to The Garden of the Gods... It's a weird place where these rock formations tower over flat land just east of Pikes Peak.

A nice thing is that it's a free park!

Looks prehistoric doesn't it?

Vertical rock faces... People rock climb these walls.

Pikes peak should be back there somewhere.. Mother nature can even hide a 14'er!
