Sorry again about the delay of this post. I find myself with a wide option range of things to do at night which makes nightly updates hard.
These photos were taken on my adventure up to Corona Pass. The drive is about 20 miles but takes an hour or so to make it up.
The pass was once home to a small town that served the now defunct railroad tracks that ran up this mountain. The town has since been burnt to the ground and the railroad tracks removed but you can still see the grades on which the railroad once ran.

The view of Winter Park ski hill from the trail.

One of the old railroad trestles. This one I didn't cross.

Yep, snow!!!!! Life at 12K feet is awesome when you can actually breath.

Look at that. Forgot the pole otherwise I could've went riding and fishing at almost the same time.

Corona pass (A.K.A. Rollins pass) is 11,660 feet. This is the location of the ghost town that used to serve the railroad.

Well, the 4Runner didn't think that was high enough so I kept driving up the old railroad grade to 12k feet.

Don't look down!

You reach a point where the trail is blocked off due to a cave in on one of the passes through the side of the mountain. Here you can either turn around or hop out and do a little hiking. Here is Tyler standing on one of the trestles.
Good thing for strong wood, it's at least a 3k foot drop underneath the bridge!

Well, I did manage to cross both of the bridges even though I thought I would need a change of pants afterwards.
